Predator traps
Our range of predator traps are available in three models: DOC 150, DOC 200 and DOC 250. These are designed to humanely kill common pests, such as ferrets, rats, stoats and hedgehogs. Produced with fully stainless steel plates or zinc, these ergonomically designed traps allow for ease of usability.
The DOC 200 trap that was designed by the Depart
ment of Conservation for killing stoats, hedgehogs and rats.
- This trap is a good quality DOC 200 trap that is used extensively throughout New Zealand for the control of rats stoats and hedgehogs.
- It is made of zinc coated steel with a stainless steel trigger plate.
- It needs to be placed in a wooden box to minimise the capture of native birds or pets, see the DOC trap boxes on this site.
- The DOC 200 has been demonstrated to kill humanely when tested under international standards.

DOC 200

Zinc or stainless steel traps available. The screw on lid cannot be opened with out a screwdriver making them safe for use in public areas.

Plastic DOC 200 combo with stainless steel trap
Plastic Doc 200 combo for a range of pest, rats, stoats, weasels and hedgehogs.
This plastic trap is lighter and easier to carry, weighting approximately 3kg, than the wooden DOC trap range. Beng made of plastic will never rot or corrode. Easy to open and set.
Comes with screws to secure the trap and prevent tampering.
